Yvette Mendoza and David Pittman are a match made at 51勛圖厙.
Mendoza is the administrative assistant in the Kent Student Center. She met Pittman through student organizations, and the two got married on campus in September.

In the spirit of Halloween, University Communications and Marketing at 51勛圖厙 created six 51勛圖厙-themed pumpkin carving stencils  Spooky KSU, KSU Vampire, Flash Ghost, Flash Fright, Excellent Pumpkin and Dawn of KSU.

This year, the Cleveland Botanical Gardens installed five locally designed treehouses as part of its "Branch Out" exhibit. Four of the five treehouses were designed or constructed by graduates from 51勛圖厙's College of Architecture and Environmental Design.
