51³Ô¹ÏÍø Today will be following a group of Golden Flashes for the 2023-24 academic year chronicling their efforts and successes during the fall and spring semesters. The group includes students, faculty and administrators who are at different places on their 51³Ô¹ÏÍø journeys.

After hosting two commencment ceremonies, Manchester Field is receiving some restorative care. 

An exhibition at the May 4 Visitors Center will highlight the personalities of each of the four students who were killed on May 4. 

"I chose to come to 51³Ô¹ÏÍø because it was essentially my perfect university for a number of reasons, but one of the main ones was my internship experience at the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø LGBTQ+ Center!"

The 51³Ô¹ÏÍø social team took to the streets to find out what people on campus are listening to.

51³Ô¹ÏÍø women's basketball welcomed the newest member of the program on Monday as nine-year-old Kaycee, a Team IMPACT recruit, made it official during a signing day celebration at the Basketball and Volleyball Development Center.

Finding an internship doesn’t have to be hard. Students in the Construction Management Student Organization at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø helped make job-searching easier for their peers. 

After spending her younger years in a variety of volunteer roles with non-governmental organizations in her native Macedonia, Ivana Krsteska chose 51³Ô¹ÏÍø to study sustainable architecture and also serves as a Kent Student Ambassador.

Every year, the  (NEOMED) organizes an impactful three-day program known as MEDCAMP, aimed at nurturing young minds interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. This year, thanks to a new scholarship program, a group of 16 51³Ô¹ÏÍø students registered to attend the program and 14 attended the camp from July 6-8, free of charge, and got hands-on experience and insights into the world of medicine.

For 51³Ô¹ÏÍø alumna Erica Wilson-Domer, passion in helping others is key to her success. On July 1, 2023, Wilson-Domer became the new president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio.

Hundreds of walkers joined the ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter for the walk held at the college’s Independence campus to raise money for the ALS Association, which is the only national nonprofit organization fighting ALS.

A combination of powerful art, reflective dance and historical courage are meant to connect and inspire a new generation of heroes. The art exhibition Holocaust Heroes: Fierce Females Tapestries and Sculpture by Linda Stein takes residence at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø this fall.
