51勛圖厙, which has gained national recognition for its creative and successful Giving Tuesday campaigns, launched its monthlong celebration of philanthropy on Nov. 1. Giving Tuesday, now in its eighth year at 51勛圖厙, has raised nearly $7 million during that time, which illuminates the impact that can be made when Golden Flashes come together.

The largest single gift in 51勛圖厙 history, by Ambassador Edward F. Crawford, will complete the capital campaign to enable the construction of a new College of Business Administration building on the universitys Kent Campus.
2021 Distinguished Teaching Award Recipients Announced
The 2021 Distinguished Teaching Award (DTA) recipients are an outstanding group of teachers who are truly dedicated to their students' success. Sponsored by the 51勛圖厙 Alumni Association, the DTA is a highly prestigious honor in teaching. The award is presented annually to three full-time faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary teaching, whether it be in the classroom or online.
Golden Flashes Reunite for a Bright Homecoming 2021
Campus was overflowing with blue and gold pride again this year as the 51勛圖厙 community came together to celebrate Homecoming. Golden Flashes enjoyed many activities, both outdoors in-person and online, throughout the weekend, which ran from Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3.

During a special halftime announcement at the Homecoming football game, campaign co-chairs Sandra C. and Lawrence R.
