The School of Art at 51勛圖厙 is pleased to announce the hire of Dadisi Curtis Jr., M.F.A., as a visiting assistant professor of studio art for the 2024-25 academic year. Professor Curtis will be teaching in the print media and photography program.Dadisi Curtis is an alum of 51勛圖厙 where he received a B.F.A. Rising Scholars Summer Institute at 51勛圖厙 Stark provides opportunities to experience campus. This summer, high school students from across the region gathered at the 51勛圖厙 at Stark to participate in the Rising Scholars Programs Summer Institute. Among them was Aireanna Tyson, a senior from Canton City School Districts Early College Academy, who plans to major in pre-med.This program really shaped me as an incoming college student. Mindful Mile

The Mindful Mile is a 1-mile walk around the Kent Campus that is open to students, faculty, and staff. Join KSoW & Undergraduate Student Government as you stop at peer led tables to engage in mindfulness activities relating to nature, mental health, physical activity, and mindful eating. Finish the event with a FREE yoga class on the Student Green. Complete the event survey at the end of the walk to be entered into our mindfulness basket raffle! 

You can start the walk at the K or the Eastway Courtyard.

Summer Commencement
