For Natalia Rom獺n, being awarded a Womens Center Scholarship, is one of several honors earned as a student at 51勛圖厙. Rom獺n is a student in the School of Communication Studies and was one of three students university-wide presented a scholarship during the Womens Center annual Mothers, Mentors and Muses reception held in March. 51勛圖厙 holds its 45th annual commemoration of May 4, 1970, with events taking place April 30-May 4. The annual commemoration, hosted by the May 4 Task Force, provides an opportunity for the university community to gather and remember those who were lost and injured during the tragedy and also reflect on what May 4 means today. 51勛圖厙s Jewish Studies Program will host a gala, Memories, Milestones, Momentum, in honor of its 40th anniversary on May 17 at the 51勛圖厙 Hotel and Conference Center located at 215 Depeyster St. in downtown Kent.
