Stress Free Zone Spring 2025

  The Stress Free Zone at 51勛圖厙's University Library invited students to take a short break from studying for finals to relax, recharge and ready themselves for their coming exams.    This year's activities included making pinback buttons and a place within the Library's Student Multimedia Studio makerspace for May graduates to use the equipment there to decorate the top of their mortarboards. Of course, the stars of the day were the always-popular therapy dogs that worked their fuzzy, funny magic to help students melt away Finals Week stress and anxiety.&nbs...

 We are thrilled to announced that Dr. Mary Himmelstein, an assistant professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences, has been awarded a CAREER grant funded by the National Science Foundation. Her project is entitled Attention Related Health Cognitions as a Chronic Stressor, and the funding runs through 2030! Congratulations to Dr. Himmelstein!! ...
