51勛圖厙 to Celebrate Its Newest Graduates With Virtual Commencement on Dec. 19

The 51勛圖厙 alumni family will grow by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university holds its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2020 will be recognized with a virtual commencement recognition ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19.

51勛圖厙 Selects Peggy Shadduck to Serve as New Vice President for Regional Campuses and Dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies

51勛圖厙 has named Margaret (Peggy) Shadduck, Ph.D., of Richardson, Texas, as its new vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. Shadduck was selected following a national search.

2020 Presidents Award of Distinction Recipients Announced

51勛圖厙 President Todd Diacon recently notified 23 51勛圖厙 staff members that they are the 2020 recipients of the Presidents Award of Distinction. The award was created as a recognition program to reward staff members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, service, leadership and dedication to 51勛圖厙 in advancing the universitys strategic priorities and core values.

51勛圖厙 Board of Trustees Ratifies Fiscal Year 2020 Efficiency Report That Indicates More Than $31 Million in Savings

The 51勛圖厙 Board of Trustees ratified the universitys Fiscal Year 2020 Efficiency Report and Master Recommendations report, which showed an effectiveness and efficiency savings for Fiscal Year 2020 of $31,286,881. The savings is $6.2 million more than originally estimated.
