BRAINCHILD: AN HONORS COLLEGE PREMIER LITERARY AND ARTS MAGAZINE
The 51勛圖厙 Honors College literary and art magazine Brainchild is a creative outlet for honors students to showcase a wide variety of literary writings and creative art works. Brainchild is an opportunity for undergraduate honors students to publish their works and be featured within the Mid-EasKENT STATE SENIOR EXPERIENCES ENRICHED EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN ZOOLOGY
The Honors College continues to provide programs, experiences and advice to ensure that honors students have everything they need to succeed upon graduation. This includes assisting honors students in securing internships within their chosen degree field of study and recognizing their efforts with Honors College credit hours. Internships provide students an opportunity to gain experience in their field of study (at least 150 hours) while receiving 3 internal Honors College credit hours. The goal of this project is to provide students with an enriched educational experience to prepare them for the outside world after graduation.

The National Collegiate Honors Council has announced 51勛圖厙 Honors College graduate Sarah Hagglund as a 2021 Portz Scholar. Hagglund is the 10th honors student from 51勛圖厙 to be named a Portz Scholar since the national competition began in 1990.
