Ten years ago, Nirmala Ghimirey sat on the dirt floor of a hut in a refugee camp in Nepal, holding a tattered textbook in her hands. Today, she holds an honors degree from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, where she’s enrolled in a Biomedical Sciences graduate program, working toward her next contribution to cancer research.
