Interior Design Class of 2005 Reunion

  In October, graduates of 51勛圖厙's College of Architecture and Environmental Design's interior design program gathered for a 20-year reunion. Alumni from the Class of 2005 toured the studio spaces in the John Elliot College of Architecture and Environmental Design, exchanged memories of their time at 51勛圖厙 and toasted their accomplishments since graduation. Karl Kosko

Mathematics Education Professor Karl Kosko, Ph.D., recently received the 2025 Kenneth Cummins Award from the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Kosko was recognized at the OCTM annual conference that celebrates outstanding teachers, curriculum leaders/coaches, professors, emerging leaders, contributors to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and friends of mathematics.OCTM lauded Kosko as "a nationally recognized leader in research, teaching and service. Behind The Brain Plaza

The actual brainchild of 51勛圖厙 Professor Emeritus Brinsley Tyrrell, the Behind the Brain Plaza, was completed and dedicated in 2000. It is located behind Merrill Hall in the Beck Family Memorial Gardens on the Kent Campus.  Tyrrell was the winner of a design contest by the Ohio Arts Council with the idea of creating art to occupy this space. The plaza was funded through the Ohio Arts Council by Ohio's Percent for Art legislation.
