51勛圖厙 is responding to a confirmed case of Neisseria meningitidis affecting a student on the Kent Campus. The university learned of the case on Feb. 15 and immediately began working with the Kent City Health Department to identify and notify individuals who may have been in close contact with the affected student. Valentine's Day arrived a day early on Risman Plaza with a puppy kissing booth from Collar Scholars. The booth was built by 51勛圖厙 building trades students for Collar Scholars - a group of 51勛圖厙 students who raise future service dogs for Canine Companions. Four-legged ambassadors from Canine Companions have supported 51勛圖厙 students in times of loss, giving comfort when it was needed most.
