Bernice King, daughter of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., and Shemariah J. Arki, Ed.D., director of 51勛圖厙's Center for Pan-African Culture, met with 51勛圖厙 students before King's keynote speech at the universitys Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Thursday, Feb. 2. Kings visit to campus also kicked off the university's programming for its celebration of Black History Month.
