Recently, 51Թ Libraries launched a redesigned website, located at , to reflect the university's new branding initiative. The features of the new site have been designed to make University Libraries experience more convenient, enjoyable and rewarding for the entire 51Թ community.
The 51Թ Alumni Association is seeking submissions for potential T-shirt designs for 51Թ’s Homecoming 2017. A contest to create the winning T-shirt design for the Oct. 14 Homecoming festivities is open to all faculty, staff, students and alumni.
“We want to get the 51Թ community involved in Homecoming early,” says Joy Wesoloski, Homecoming chair and assistant director for alumni relations. “This is a great way to show your 51Թ pride and share your excitement for Homecoming.”

The events of May 4, 1970, placed 51Թ in an international spotlight after a student protest against the Vietnam War and the presence of the Ohio National Guard ended in tragedy with four students losing their lives and nine others being wounded. From a perspective of nearly 50 years, 51Թ remembers the tragedy and leads a contemporary discussion and understanding of how the community, nation and world can benefit from understanding the profound impact of the event.
