Dress Up for Downs, a 51勛圖厙 student organization recently held its 8th annual fashion show fundraiser . The event, themed "Hollywood Heroes," featured a runway show with designs by 51勛圖厙 fashion design students and raised over $3000 for the Down Syndrome Association of Northeast Ohio.

Republic Airways Donates $5,000 to 51勛圖厙's Women in Aviation Chapter
The Women in Aviation International (WAI) Chapter at 51勛圖厙 has received a $5,000 donation from Republic Airways, an official partner of the university's College of Aeronautics and Engineering's (CAE).

Mock Trial Teams Host 10-Team Intercollegiate Regional Tournament
On January 20, 51勛圖厙 welcomed over 120 college students from across the region to its Golden Flash Legal Clash, a two-day collegiate mock trial invitational held in the Kent Student Center. Proceeds from the event helped to raise funds for future events that 51勛圖厙s Mock Trial teams plan to attend. The 10 student teams, including some from out-of-state, competed in four rounds. Teams from Case Western Reserve University finished first and second with third place going to a team from William & Mary. The opening and closing ceremonies were held in the 51勛圖厙 Governance Chambers.
