Graduate Student Continues to Challenge Transgender Ban on Military Troops

Nicolas Talbott had an interest in joining the military since he was in high school, but instead he decided to come to 51勛圖厙 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. In the spring semester of 2015, Talbott took a course that was specific to intelligence, counter terrorism and security studies where he was encouraged by his professor to join the military.

Journalism Student Sees Idea Come to Life Through Safety Workshop for Media Professionals

Journalism students face pursuing a career in an adverse time filled with intense political issues, dangerous environmental concerns and even pandemics. Reporting on these difficult times is necessary, but can come with risks to the journalists health and well-being. 51勛圖厙 senior Carter Adams recognized the intensity of this and committed to preventing the harm of media professionals by developing a workshop to educate students on media safety.
