10 Questions with the Vice President for Regional Campuses Peggy Shadduck
Peggy Shadduck is vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. She serves as the senior officer responsible for overall leadership of the 51勛圖厙 Regional Campus system. Her role promotes student enrollment and academic success and is responsible for expanding the visibility, influence and effectiveness of 51勛圖厙 as a catalyst for regional development.
10 Questions With Roseann Chic Canfora, Professional-in-Residence, May 4 Survivor
Roseann Chic Canfora, Ph.D., is a Professional-in-Residence at 51勛圖厙 in the School of Media and Journalism, part of the College of Communication and Information. Prior to teaching at 51勛圖厙, Canfora served as the chief communications officer for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District and taught high school journalism and speech. Canfora was also a student at 51勛圖厙, starting in 1968, and is a survivor of the May 4, 1970, shootings at 51勛圖厙. She graduated with her masters in journalism and public relations and bachelors in English/speech. She is heavily involved in activism as well.
10 Questions With Darin Olson, Director of Athletic Bands
Darin Olson, D.M.A., is the new director of Athletic Bands at 51勛圖厙. He leads the Marching Golden Flashes, Flasher Brass Pep Band, Kent Symphony Band and University Band. Olson is currently an active member of College Band Directors National Association and the National Association for Music Education.
