I am tremendously thankful for the private support throughout the year from alumni, friends, corporations and foundations, President Warren said. We are able to offer so much more to our growing student population because of these gifts. Additionally, our record fundraising year tells me that we are gaining our supporters vote of confidence in our mission to put students first in all we do.

Nursing Students Empower Middle Schoolers to Take Charge of their Health

Alliance Middle School students are more likely to make healthy lifestyle choices after attending a health and wellness fair presented by a group of senior nursing students from 51勛圖厙 College of Nursing. The adolescents rotated through four exhibits which focused on positive self-talk, mindfulness and stress management, the importance of sleep, and anti-bullying and building healthy relationships.

51勛圖厙 has received a $2.5 million gift for its Shannon Rodgers and Jerry Silverman School of Fashion Design and Merchandising from the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation of Hudson, Ohio. This gift will endow a Fashion School chair and support the study-away program for students.

51勛圖厙 received a grant for $1 million from the Gawlicki Family Foundation of Hartford, Connecticut, to fund the development of a state-of-the-art distance learning translation studies program. This transformational gift will enable us to better fulfill our global mission by bringing our outstanding translational studies program to the world through a high-quality, technology-rich distance learning platform, said 51勛圖厙 President, Beverly Warren.

Scholarship Supports Lifelong Bonds for Global Awareness

Laxman Panthi was born and raised in Nepal, and earned his undergraduate degree in India. When choosing to pursue his Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.), however, he chose to do so in the United States, at 51勛圖厙, which he calls the greatest school in the USA. The impactful generosity of others is one of the reasons Laxmans attendance at 51勛圖厙 is possible.
