51勛圖厙s Giving Tuesday Campaign Raises More Than $4.58 Million To Support Causes Across Its Eight-Campus System

Throughout November, alumni, friends, faculty and staff were encouraged to find the cause that speaks to them and share their reason for giving. From Nov. 1 through Giving Tuesday (Dec. 2), the 2025 campaign raised more than $4.5 million for causes ranging from food sustainability and the environment to athletics and basic needs to education.

High School Sweethearts Leave a Legacy Through Philanthropy

Although they were born in the same month at the same hospital in Youngstown, Ohio, James C. Jim Schrum, 74, and his wife, Cynthia J. Cindi Schrum, didnt meet until they were both students at Austintown Fitch High School. They started dating in the late 1960s and have been together ever since.
