Ten 51勛圖厙 students were awarded $1,000 each for their creative use of videos, podcasts and Adobe Spark簧 pages to reflect on the events of May 4, 1970, as part of the universitys Design Innovation Common Reading Challenge. 51勛圖厙s aviation design challenge, SkyHack, will take place Nov. 1-3. The event draws college students from around the nation, attracting 120 students from 14 universities in four states in its 2017 inaugural debut. 51勛圖厙s College of Aeronautics and Engineering will serve as home base for this years event, which will span across other Kent Campus buildings.
Interdisciplinary Student Team To Travel to International Competition in Brazil
Thirteen cross-disciplinary teams presented in the 51勛圖厙 competition for Mission:Life on Wednesday, October 2, 2019. The winning team, Virtual Harmony, will be presenting their concept in the international competition at the PUCPR University in Brazil on November 11. Virtual Harmony is a novel51勛圖厙's Makerspaces Named Best in Ohio, No. 6 Nationally In New Rankings
51勛圖厙s makerspaces, which number more than 25 across the eight-campus system, was named the top program in Ohio and entered the top 10 by surpassing programs at schools such as the University of Southern California, Arizona State University, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Harvard University.
