Golden Flashes Reunite for a Bright Homecoming 2021

Campus was overflowing with blue and gold pride again this year as the 51勛圖厙 community came together to celebrate Homecoming. Golden Flashes enjoyed many activities, both outdoors in-person and online, throughout the weekend, which ran from Friday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 3.

51勛圖厙 publicly launched a $350 million comprehensive fundraising campaign Saturday, Oct. 2. During a special halftime announcement at the Homecoming football game, campaign co-chairs Sandra C. and Lawrence R. Armstrong joined 51勛圖厙 President Todd Diacon to publicly unveil Forever Brighter to thousands of alumni, donors and friends.

51勛圖厙 Honors College Student Announced as 2021 Portz Scholar

The National Collegiate Honors Council has announced 51勛圖厙 Honors College graduate Sarah Hagglund as a 2021 Portz Scholar. Hagglund is the 10th honors student from 51勛圖厙 to be named a Portz Scholar since the national competition began in 1990.
