On Thursday, May 28, 51勛圖厙 Stark Dean Denise Seachrist and Fairless Local Schools Superintendent Broc Bidlack signed a College Credit Plus agreement.

In fall 2015, Fairless High School students will be within walking distance to 51勛圖厙 at Stark, shortening the span to their college degrees. On Thursday, May 28, 51勛圖厙 Stark Dean Denise Seachrist and Fairless Local Schools Superintendent Broc Bidlack signed a College Credit Plus agreement.   51勛圖厙 nursing and public health students are learning about how faith based organizations play a key role in providing health care around the world. As part of their degree program, 20 students, along with Ken Slenkovich, assistant dean of 51勛圖厙s College of Public Health, attended the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.  This is the 5th year that 51勛圖厙 students have attended the meeting. The vertical wind turbine is installed on the southeast side of the Science & Nursing Building.

Through a grant facilitated by Dr. Christopher Post, associate professor of geography, the Dominion Foundation awarded 51勛圖厙 Stark $28,000 for a vertical wind turbine. Wind Turbines of Ohio, located in Alliance, installed the turbine on the southeast side of the campuss new Science & Nursing Building. While the turbine will partially power the building, its primary purpose is education and research.
