Six first-year honors students on the 51勛圖厙 Salem Campus took the initiative to organize a research project that enhanced their learning experiences, despite not earning grades or class credit for their work. Dr. Louise Steele was recognized as the outstanding fulltime faculty member. She is an assistant professor of biology and has taught on the Salem Campus for four years.
