                              The inaugural 51�Թ��� County Classic basketball game took place Dec. 6, 2016 when the East Liverpool Potters hosted the Salem Quakers for the opening game of the boys’ 2016-17 basketball season.  51�Թ���’s Columbiana County campuses welcomed fans from both ends of the county for an exciting match-up, with activities throughout the game. Dr. David Dees, interim dean of the 51�Թ��� Columbiana County campuses, welcomed the students, their families, donors and faculty members, while emphasizing the important role each relationship plays in measuring success at a university. The Rural Scholars program works to connect middle schoolers and high schoolers living in Columbiana County to their local surroundings and beyond. This has never been more apparent than from a summer full of four separate week-long workshops, and an autumn full of different career exploration workshops.
