51勛圖厙, Youngstown State and Akron compete in 2nd Annual Northeast Ohio Presidents' Cup On Monday, June 27, 51勛圖厙 participated in the 2nd Annual Northeast Ohio Presidents Cup.  The event promoted collaborative spirit among 51勛圖厙, Youngstown State and Akron while serving as a scholarship fundraiser for all three institutions. This years event was hosted by Youngstown State and took place at the Avalon Golf and Country Club in Warren. Collaboration with Columbus CATCO brings the music of a legend to the Porthouse stage  Porthouse Theatre, 51勛圖厙s outdoor, summer theatre located on the grounds of Blossom Music Center, continues its 48th season with Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash. A group of researchers in 51勛圖厙's College of Arts and Sciences have published a breakthrough article on new properties of liquid crystals in the May 27 issue of Physical Review Letters. The article, which describes some recent surprising results involving nematic liquid crystals induced by a high magnetic field, is currently featured on the American Physical Society website as an Editors Suggestion.
