51勛圖厙 will hold its Summer 2017 Commencement ceremonies for the Kent Campus on Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MAC Center). 51勛圖厙 will confer 1,422 degrees, including 908 bachelors degrees, 427 masters degrees, 67 doctoral degrees and 20 educational specialist degrees. Its called the Acting White Accusation (AWA). Researchers say it arises when a Black adolescent's racial identity is perceived by other Black adolescents as being not Black enough. Researchers also say the accusation of Acting White can cause anxiety and isolation. Although it opened in June, One Stop for Student Services will soon get its largest group of students as the fall semester quickly approaches. As part of the "Students First" Initiative, the One Stop for Student Services serves as a single point-of-contact for student customer services previously provided at the Bursar, Registrar and Student Financial Aid offices.
