If surviving cancer is not difficult enough, too often depression can follow - under certain circumstances. A new study led by Vinay K. Cheruvu, Ph.D., biostatistician in 51勛圖厙s College of Public Health, found that depression in some cancer survivors is linked to both care and financial concerns. The Wick Poetry Center, in collaboration with the City of Kent and the university, have begun two new projects to place poetry into the heart of Kent. Each project will provide more opportunities for students and the people of Kent to be exposed to poetry in their daily lives through the use of kiosks.
