Earlier this semester, a team of nursing students and faculty members volunteered to work at the Rural Area Mobile (RAM) free clinic held at the Covelli Center in Youngstown. The team spent a day working in triage, taking vital signs and collecting health history information from individuals preparing for a medical/dental or a medical/vision visit. The clinic was staffed by area medical professionals who provided free care to all who sought treatment.
