Scott Hallgren, associate professor in the School of Media and Journalism, teaches several classes in digital media production with a focus on sound in picture. He recently showcased his skills outside the classroom by composing the score for a local short film while also releasing his first book.  The film “The Resistance” was directed by Kara White and focuses on British female spies during World War II. The United Nations describes International Day of Peace as a day devoted to strengthening the ideas of peace through observing 24 hours of nonviolence and cease-fire. A variety of food trucks gather in front of the University Library on Wednesdays to supply students, faculty and staff passing by with a quick bite to eat. And the 51�Թ��� community is taking advantage of it. The Community Food Truck Series happens on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Risman Plaza, located in front of the Kent Student Center, through Oct. 12.
