Students from the Junior Leadership of Columbiana County program visited the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Salem Campus where they learned about options for beginning their higher education journeys close to home. The students are sophomores and juniors representing Beaver Local, Columbiana, Crestview, Leetonia, Lisbon, Salem, United and Wellsville high schools. David Kaplan, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Geography in the College of Arts and Sciences at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, was recently named a fellow of the American Association of Geographers (AAG) in recognition for his significant contributions to advancing geography.
