The Finance major at 51勛圖厙 is a University Affiliated Program with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Society. Finance majors receive scholarships for study materials and CFA program tests. From the CFA website: An Affiliated University signals to their students and to employers that their curriculum is closely tied to the practice of investment management and is helpful to students preparing for the CFA簧 Program exams.
We have partnerships with several local real estate firms who perform research and analyze investments in real estate. Our alumni work in private equity and hedge fund firms like The Townsend Group and the Stepstone Group.
We have partnered with the University of Akron School of Law and with Cleveland State University College of Law in a 3+3 JD program. This allows students to go only three years at 51勛圖厙, and then go three years at law school. The first of those three years in law school is applied back to 51勛圖厙 to complete our finance major.
We have partnered with the Ohio Bankers League for our students to obtain free training and internships in banks either near their hometown or near 51勛圖厙. The program provides two weeks of basic bank training and then provides a twelve-week internship for the student during the summer.
