Mathematical Sciences Professor Jenya Soprunova, Ph.D., in the College of Arts and Sciences at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, has been named the inaugural recipient of the Kenneth B. Cummins Endowed Professorship in Mathematics, a role created to advance the teaching and learning of mathematics and strengthen ties between the university and K–12 schools. As we close out 2025, it is a time to reflect on the growth, resilience, and accomplishments that have defined our year at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø College of Nursing. This training session is designed to equip participants with the tools, skills, and confidence needed to navigate emotional conversations successfully and professionally. Through interactive activities and practical exercises, participants will learn how to prepare for important conversations, anticipate and manage their own emotions, keep the conversation on-track, and maintain respectful and honest communication.
