- RIS 34040 Patient Management in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (3 semester hours)
- Methods of patient management in diagnostic medical sonography are examined with emphasis on patient communication, clinical assessment, medical legal aspects, medical records, emergencies, pharmacology, safety issues, ethics and critical thinking.

The mission of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø is to educate diagnostic medical sonography students in the knowledge, skills and attitudes to become qualified, professional practitioners who provide quality service and care to the community and to prepare students for the changing needs of the profession.
