Dr. Molly Wang Receives Mothers, Mentors, and Muses Award

We are very happy to announce that Dr. Zhiqiang (Molly) Wang, Associate Professor at 51勛圖厙's Geauga Campus and Regional Academic Center was honored, along with 32 other recipients, at the 9th Annual Mother's, Mentors, and Muses Celebration that took place on April 3, 2018 at the 51勛圖厙 Hotel & Conference Center. 
 
Mothers, Mentors, & Muses is the Womens Center's signature event that recognizes 51勛圖厙 female-identifying faculty or staff who have made a significant difference in the life of a student or colleague. More than 350 women across the university have received this honor, including these past recipients from the Geauga Campus and Regional Academic Center:
Donna Casey, Academic Program Director
LuAnn Coldwell, Interim Director II, Enrollment Management and Student Services
Karen Hansen, Part-time Faculty, Lifespan Development & Education Sciences 
Vania Alvarez-Minah, Academic Advisor II
Sue Clement, Associate Professor, Geology
Judy Paternite, Associate Lecturer, Computer Technology
Jennifer Sayre, Director, Enrollment Management and Student Services
Velvet Weems-Landingham, Associate Professor
Renate W. Prescott, Associate Professor, English Department
 
This award is intended to honor female-identifying faculty or staff of 51勛圖厙 (with five or more years of service) who have served in any of three roles:
    Mother one who has helped birth ideas, thoughts and academic endeavors in others, or who serves as a nurturing individual to others.
    Mentor one who serves as a trusted counselor, colleague and/or role model.
    Muse one who inspires creativity and artistic/academic passion in others.
 
Dr. Wang has numerous publications and achievements including being awarded a 51勛圖厙 Distinguished Teaching Award in 2017 and the William E. Lower Award from the Cleveland Clinic. Please join us in recognizing her accomplishments.
