51Թ at East Liverpool was recognized for its 50th anniversary during a Business After Hours event hosted by Home Savings & Loan at its downtown location.
During the event, East Liverpool resident Kelly Bell received a check for $200 from Home Savings & Loan for winning the 51Թ Golden category. She submitted the photo, entitled “Point of Departure,” to the 51Թ photography show held last month to observe the campus’s golden anniversary.
Home Savings & Loan sponsored the 51Թ Golden category, created to select the photograph that best exemplifies 51Թ in East Liverpool. The winning photo, chosen by the 51Թ East Liverpool Art Acquisition Committee, was purchased from Bell and will be displayed as part of the campus’s art collection. 
The other winning photos from the recent show also were displayed in the bank’s lobby.
