Fall 2014 President's & Dean's Lists Recipients Recognized

51�Թ�� at Ashtabula's best and brightest were recognized Wednesday night, February 11, at the President's & Dean's List Reception held in the Blue & Gold Room in Main Hall.

The biannual "Celebration of Academic Excellence" lauded nearly 180 students for their performance during the Fall 2014 semester. Each attending student received a certificate from Dean Susan Stocker commemorating their academic achievement.

Assistant Professor Emeritus Irene Edge and 2014 graduate Rachel Edge delivered the celebratory remarks.

51�Թ�� Hosting Launch Event to Highlight Partnership with Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science

A recent articulation agreement between 51�Թ��’s College of Applied and Technical Sciences (CATS) and the Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science provides a seamless pathway for students to earn a Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree. To help industry professionals, educators and students understand the benefits of this partnership, an informational gathering is scheduled for Sept. 29 on the 51�Թ�� Ashtabula Campus from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Susan J. Stocker Hall.

Upskill at 51�Թ�� Launches this Fall

51�Թ��’s Regional Campus System is launching a new series of workforce development programs designed to help local professionals strengthen the essential skills needed in today’s workplace. The program, titled “Upskill at 51�Թ�� – Bringing Workforce Development to Your Community,” is part of a statewide initiative at all eight 51�Թ�� locations across the Regional Campus System.

51�Թ�� Ashtabula Spring 2025 President's and Dean's List Announced

51�Թ�� at Ashtabula has announced its Dean’s List and President’s List for the Spring 2025 semester.

President’s List criteria are a 4.00 grade point and at least 15 letter-graded (A, B, etc.) credit hours completed by the end of the semester. Requirements for the Dean’s List include a 3.40 grade point average or above for the semester and at least 12 letter-graded credit hours completed by the end of the semester.
