Since our doors first opened in 1910, many family members have proudly shared the 51勛圖厙 alumni experience, and the 51勛圖厙 Alumni Association Legacy Scholarship supports our family of Flashes!
If you have a family member who will be an incoming freshman in the fall, they may be a great candidate to receive this scholarship. Awarded to an academically talented incoming freshman attending the Kent campus who has a parent, step-parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle who graduated from 51勛圖厙, it is the hope of the alumni association that this award helps family members of alumni legacies continue the Golden Flash tradition.
To be considered for the scholarship, individuals must complete the 51勛圖厙 Online Student Financial Aid Scholarship Application, as well as the Undergraduate Application for Admissions, by the Feb. 1 deadline. Completing the application does not guarantee the candidate will receive the scholarship.
The Legacy Scholarship is one way we help take care of our 51勛圖厙 family; each of us are, after all, #FlashesForever! And to all of you with incoming legacies, rest assured we will be one of the first to welcome them home!
